She acted in many Telugu and few Tamil movies. She was a yoga teacher in Bangalore. Tollywood director Puri Jagannath who also directed some Kannada found her.
She made her debut in Tollywood with Nagarjuna‘s Super which was directed by Puri Jagannath. Then she featured in some flop movies. While she was struggling for lack of offers she received a super hit with Vikramarkudu opposite Ravi Teja. After this movie she never turned back. In 2008 she had 6 releases among them only Souryam was hit.
Remaining movies Like Bala Krishna‘s Okka Magadu and Venkatesh‘s Chintakayala Ravi became big disasters.
She celebrated 2008 Sankranthi with bad memories because Bala Krishna’s Okka Magadu was removed from all theatres only after five days after it’s release.
